The Jewish Federation Annual Yom Hazikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day) virtual ceremony commemoration Tuesday, April 13th at 7 p.m. with a meaningful memorial service honoring Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror.

Yom Ha'atzmaut Celebration, Thursday, April 15th from 5:30 – 6:45 pm. Community members will have the opportunity to choose how they want to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut this year by attending either a family-friendly “in-car-nival” drive-in experience or enjoying the event from the comfort of their home through a complementary virtual event. Yom Ha’atzmaut is sponsored by the Cleveland Jewish News, in addition to more than 30 community partners. Registration is required for both events. The Jewish Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Network is sponsoring Good Deeds Day on Sunday, April 18th. This year we are focusing our efforts on the needs of people in our community that face food insecurity and hunger. There are 3 ways individuals and families can volunteer together:
MAKE a casserole (s) to be given to families in need
DONATE non-perishable items to the Cleveland Food Bank
ADVOCATE for policies to eradicate food insecurity in our country
